Picture Day…sorta

So I had the thought this morning, while I was scrapping the first frost off of my windshield, that I would document my day in pictures. Best intentions as they say.

Why do I have 2 pictures of my windshield you might be asking. Because I liked the green in the lower one but I also liked the tree reflected in the upper one so I decided both were going to be good.

This is my way into work. I like all the angles in this picture. I would love to get the students to paint a giant mural on the wall to the right but it is really textured and would be difficult to paint. Plus I would have to have the perfect class and the perfect weather situation. Maybe someday.

This is one of my students Zentangle ornament. They had to decorate 6 circles and then we folded them in half and glued all the backs together to make a hanging ornament. Sadly this girl hates this but I think it is really lovely.

And then I forgot to take pictures of the rest of the day.

I could have taken pictures of the students drawing in my first class.

I could have taken pictures of my students up to their elbows in clay in my next class.

I could have taken a picture of my lunch (salad and ham and cheese rolls YUM!)

I could have taken a picture of my student after lunch working on their 3-d paintings and building up the image using plaster cast.

I could have taken pictures of my final class of Grade 10 working on their paper mache monsters. But for them you would have to have sound o’vision ( probably more accurately called video) of the crazy loudness that are Grade 10 students. I can’t let them have the radio on because they try to talk over the music to be heard and the music is never on that loud but they are LOUD.

I could have taken a picture of Lucy when I got home licking my hands and trying to put her legs on my shoulders to lick my face.

I could have taken a picture of Percy wearing is cone head and ramming into things as he is walking around. The funniest thing is that if he hits something with the cone he pushes even harder and plows his way through. Stubborn Shiz Tzu

I could have taken a picture of dinner ( Mashed cauliflower and cabbage rolls)

Should have taken a picture of my dessert…ICE CREAM

So many missed opportunities…

What should you have taken a picture of today?
